Dr. Stephan Ginsberg grew up in New York and after college attended and graduated from Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1977. Along with his wife, they joined the US Army stationed in Kentucky. In 1980, they returned to the Boston areas and opened their practice in Mansfield. They both joined the Army Reserves in a field unit and worked at the Fall River Community Dental Clinic. Dr. Stephan retired from his Reserve unit after 24 years as a Colonel.
He is a Life Member of the Massachusetts Dental Society and has been a volunteer at The Yankee Dental Convention in Boston. He is also a member of the American Dental Association and Parkway Study Club. He and his wife attend out of state Dental Conferences and Lectures to broaden their knowledge of their profession.
Dr. Stephan enjoys keeping up to date with hi tech equipment that increases the comfort and quality of the care he gives to his patients.
Dr Stephan and his wife Dr. Joyce went to college together then Dental School, Active Duty service in the US Army, Reserve Duty and then their practice. They have two children and two grandchildren as well as a dog, cat and turtle.
In his spare time he enjoys Sports (Go Pats, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins), Travel, Cape Cod, Reading and spending time with his family and friends.
Dr. Joyce Ginsberg, Practice Manager
Dr. Joyce Ginsberg received her Dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1976. She is also from New York(Brooklyn), attended the same college and Dental school and Army commission,Reserve Duty and membership in organizations as her husband Stephan. She left the Reserves as a Major to spend more time raising their two children. She worked in the practice and volunteered. She enjoys travel, fixing things, gardening, Cape Cod and caring for their pets and being a grandmother.
Lisa, Registered Dental Hygienist
Lisa has been a licensed hygienist for 21 years. She brings to our office experience in Periodontics, Prosthodontics and General Dentistry. She expresses her love for hygiene every day after having chose it as a career after receiving her BA in Psychology. Her fun and outgoing personality shows through daily and is loved by her patients. She loves fashion and travel and listening to her patients adventures. Her smile eases the fear of many a phobic patient. She is a mother of two girls and a “dental family” member to patients age 2 to 92.
Nikki, Registered Dental Assistant
Nikki brings a wealth of knowledge to our office from more than 5 years of experience as a dental assistant. Patients have taken to her as if she has been here years. She lives locally and makes patients feel very comfortable and relaxed when they meet her. She especially enjoys seeing former clients from her previous job who are happy to see her in her new role. Her warm personality has a very positive effect on even the worst dental phobics. She balances her time with her family,friends and our “Dental Family”
Sarah, Registered Dental Hygienist
We are very fortunate to have her part time at our office. She lights up a room and she brings new ideas from her other office. Patients are always smiling when they leave her care. Sports are a passion for her and her family.
Ursula, Office Manager
Ursula, our office manager is a vital member of our team. She is friendly, warm and makes patients feel comfortable as soon as they walk in the door. She assists patients with all their Insurance and financial needs. Her experience in all aspects of the daily tasks of our dental practice is invaluable. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, painting and spending time with family and friends.
Sue, Registered Dental Assistant
Sue, another townie has been a part of our dental family as a part time assistant for many years. We have watched her twins grow along with our practice. Her and her husband love sports and anything Irish. She is like a breath of fresh spring air whenever she is in a room. You know you are in loving, comforting hands when you are in her care.
Tony, Registered Dental Hygienist
Tony has returned to us and we are happy to have him back. He brings his cheerful calming nature and years of expertise in hygiene. With his welcoming smile and calming nature he makes children to seniors very comfortable in his care.
